About Addu City
Addu City sits below the equator at the southern tip of the Maldives, linked by long causeways that thread together its four main islands. Once a British Royal Navy base, the area still preserves WWII bunkers and the old airstrip on Gan. Today it's known for diving the world-class Manta Point, cycling between islands, and exploring lush wetlands rare in the Maldives. The pace is calm and uncommercialized, with traditional Dhivehi villages, equatorial sunsets, and pristine coral gardens just offshore.
